The Hotel

Taormina appeared as "a strip of paradise on the earth" to the eyes of one of its most important visitors, Johann Wolfang Goethe, who visited it in 1787. It was an exciting discovery for the German literary man who quoted in a memoirs the warm emotions aroused by his famous "journey to Italy". The construction of Villa Sant'Andrea dates back to the year 1830 and was possible thanks to an aristocratic British family that found, in the landscape of Taormina, the ideal place to stay. This Hotel has been known since the fifties as one of the most exclusive in Taormina. It still conserves the charm of an antique and noble private residence. Precious paintings and antiques embellish the interior and make it unique in its style.

Caratteristics

Immersed in a park with subtropical vegetation, with its private beach, it commands a good view of the "Baia di Mazzarò". Every room is comfortable and well lit and distinguishes itself from the others in decoration and furniture. The Hotel is equipped with two Restaurants: the restaurant "Sant'Andrea", which proposes local specialities, and the restaurant "Oliviero", with exquisite menus à la carte for romantic dinners by candle-light.
