It is placed in Taormina mare and it takes only a 10 minutes car journey to reach the historical centre. Designed by the end of the Eighties, opened in 1990, it has been completed renovated and enlarged in 1997. The owner family Bambara De Luca, has set up their direct management under the teaching of three generations of Taormina hoteliers. Built in a typically Mediterranean style, the Hotel Caparena takes its name from the “Capo della Rena”, a cape just in front of one of the most beautiful pebbles beaches of the Jonian Coast. Terracotta floors, large windows, furnishings and flowered textiles in blue and green fresh colours, wide terraces, flowery balconies and a private garden to reach the swimming pool in a privileged position, add a magical aurea of beauty to the hotel.
Caratteristics88 guestrooms between Classic, Superior and Junior Suites, elegantly furnished and studied in a every single detail, have large balconies overlooking directly onto the private garden, a blue and emerald green sea amid flower gardens and the typical, luxuriant, Sicilian landscape. Large bathrooms, decorated with ceramics tiles which varies in each floor from tones of blue to green, to silver grey, charming headboards of braided reed and refined textiles and, in every room, the paintings of a famous Taormina artist reminding fishing trips.
Elegant candle light dinners and rich buffets have their appropriate frame in the roof restaurant “La Veranda” with bay view. Clients can experience dining in the open at the “Beach Club Restaurant”, decorated with colourful trompe l’oeil: open at lunch (from June to September), also to the external guests, it offers delicious fish dishes.
