Aside from white sandy beaches and a shimmering blue sea, Taormina is also famous for its luxuriant gardens. Villa Comunale Duca Colonna di Cesarò is one of the most striking gardens, an ocean of green in the middle of the city, presents an exotic vegetation of Mediterranean and tropical plants. Located to the south of the Greek Theatre, this garden is animated with palm trees, cactus plants, colourful flowers and a panoramic view of Etna. |
